Athletes who are building
You played at any level and you've started a company. Now you want to build it well.
Postgame / For athletes who build
You spent years learning how to compete. Postgame connects former athletes who are putting that to work building companies. It's early, and I'm building it with the people who join.
Started by Ben Greiner, former pro hockey player and founder of TadHealth.
How it works
Leave your name and email. That's all it takes.
Your sport, your level, and your company or idea, if you want to share them.
I'll follow up personally and connect you with people and conversations that fit.
Who it's for
You played at any level and you've started a company. Now you want to build it well.
You're weighing a company of your own and want to talk to people who've made the jump.
You want to help former athletes build, with experience, advice, or capital.
Why I started it
I came up through Shattuck-St. Mary's, played junior hockey with the Green Bay Gamblers, and was a student-athlete at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. I played pro with the Norfolk Admirals and in France's Ligue Magnus through 2020. Then I founded TadHealth.
The number of things that carried over from hockey into building a business is striking. Hard work, communication, resilience, teamwork, and culture make teams great. They make companies great, too.
Postgame exists so former athletes making the same move don't have to figure it out alone.
What I'm building toward
Candid talks between athletes who are building: what's working and what isn't.
Occasional notes on going from sport to business: identity, habits, and what carries over.
Introductions between members, operators, and investors when there's a real fit.
Lessons from members' own companies, so the next athlete-founder moves faster.
Postgame / Get connected
Tell me a little about yourself and I'll be in touch. Only name and email are required.
Thanks for reaching out. I'll be in touch personally. Know another athlete who's building? Send them Postgame.
